The Conference Manager leads the event towards success. Liaising with the Committee, venues, suppliers and the WALDRONSMITH Management team, the Conference Manager develops and maintains the relationship with all stakeholders to ensure your conference is delivered in a professional, timely and cost effective manner.

Erin Giddings

Erin has over 7 years’ experience working in events and has spent 4 years as a conference manager in the defence, aviation and civil security industry. She has worked on large conferences and exhibitions around Australia with key defence stakeholders including the Army, Navy and Airforce. Erin has been involved in all elements of the conference process including registration, program, speakers, sponsorship, abstract submission and paper management. She has extensive experience developing and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships. With her enthusiastic attitude she is driven to exceed client expectations.

Meeghan Howard

20141022 Meeghan Whalley Bio ImageMeeghan joined WALDRONSMITH Management as an experienced event manager who has worked within the association and corporate sectors on a diverse range of events. In her experience, Meeghan has undertaken a variety of roles within the industry which has allowed her to have an understanding of the entire end-to-end event management process, and in 2009 was shortlisted for the Queensland Young Ungerboeck Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) Professional Scholarship. Meeghan brings technical qualifications (Dip.Event Mgmt), a thirst for challenge and new opportunities, and extensive hands-on experience to her role at WALDRONSMITH Management.

Hayley Le Gros

Hayley Le Gros has 9 years’ experience in the event management industry working for Professional Conference Organisers.  Hayley joined WALDRONSMITH Management in 2011 and has worked in different roles including Program Management, Conference Planner and as a Conference Manager. Hayley has worked with a number of associations, charities and corporate companies on a diverse range of international and national conferences and events.  She has a great passion for event management bringing a great deal of enthusiasm and energy to her role.

Michelle MonaghanM Monaghan

Michelle has been working in the Event Management Industry for the past 13 years and has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Hospitality (RMIT University).  Michelle joined WALDRONSMITH Management in 2006 as a Conference Manager following her early career with a strong venue background at venues such as The Melbourne Zoo, Harrington Hall (London, UK) and Marriner Theatres.  She is an experienced Conference Manager who provides invaluable management and operational experience to our clients.

Kim O’Dea

Kim O'DeaKim joined the WALDRONSMITH Management team in 2001 following many years of employment in senior administrative and training roles, including 7 years as a member of the Royal Australian Air Force. Kim is responsible for the management of the Fertility Society of Australia, including all aspects of its association and conference management. Kim is also responsible for the creation and management of the online registration and abstract submission/review technology for all WALDRONSMITH Management conferences.

Karen has over 9 years’ experience in event management with 7 of those spent working for a Professional Conference Organiser. From this Karen has worked with a large number of associations to deliver the best possible events for their members. Karen has extensive experience in all aspects of event management including registrations, program and speakers, sponsorship and exhibition and financial management. Her driving force is developing outstanding client relationships and ensuring the event is a success for all stakeholders.
