Sydney Office News WALDRONSMITH Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Corinne Armstrong as Conference Manager in its Sydney office.Before joining WALDRONSMITH Management, Corinne was Director, Membership & Events at the Risk Management Association for two years, prior to which she held various corporate event management and conference producer roles. Corinne has also been engaged in communications, marketing, sponsorship and membership development positions and earlier on worked as a television publicist, producer and production manager. Corinne is also completing a Masters in Management (Event Management) at the University of Technology Sydney, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and an Associate Diploma in Administrative Studies. Corrine is a valued addition to the existing national team. Conference Wrap Up & FeedbackThe 3rd International Congress for Women’s Mental Health, http://www.iawmhcongress2008.com.au/, was recently held in Melbourne. Hosted by the Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre, the convenor Professor Jayashri Kulkarni made the following comments:“The congress was held at the Melbourne Convention Centre from 17th – 21st March 2008 and it is very pleasing to report that the Congress attracted 650 delegates from 46 different countries and fulfilled all of our goals in terms of an excellent scientific program plus social activities and wide media coverage. WALDRONSMITH Management are an amazingly professional group of event managers who were extremely good at dealing with overseas delegates and displayed considerable diplomacy skills at all times that were worthy of experienced United Nations diplomats! They are very sound financial managers who enabled the conference to run at a profit and also provide magnificent social activities for delegates.
