Liaising with the Committee, venues, suppliers and the WALDRONSMITH Management team, the Conference Manager develops and maintains the relationship with all stakeholders to ensure your conference is delivered in a professional, timely and cost effective manner.

Michelle MonaghanM Monaghan

Michelle has been working in the Event Management Industry for the past 13 years and has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Hospitality (RMIT University).  Michelle joined WALDRONSMITH Management in 2006 as a Conference Manager following her early career with a strong venue background at venues such as The Melbourne Zoo, Harrington Hall (London, UK) and Marriner Theatres.  She is an experienced Conference Manager who provides invaluable management and operational experience to our clients.

Kim O’Dea

Kim O'DeaKim joined the WALDRONSMITH Management team in 2001 following many years of employment in senior administrative and training roles, including 7 years as a member of the Royal Australian Air Force. Kim is responsible for the management of the Fertility Society of Australia, including all aspects of its association and conference management. Kim is also responsible for the creation and management of the online registration and abstract submission / review technology for all WALDRONSMITH Management conferences.

Jaime Olive

jaime-oliveJaime joined WALDRONSMITH Management as an experienced Conference Manager with over 6 years’ background in Professional Conference Organising over a range of industries in the Association, Corporate and Government sectors.

Jaime’s experience with both national meetings as well as complex, large scale international programs has allowed her a diverse experience across all facets of conference management particularly program management, venue operations, conference marketing and financial management.

Jaime Project Managed a finalist event for the Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) 2015 Association or Government Event of the Year and was also finalist for the MEA Young Professional Scholarship in 2013.

Meeghan Whalley

20141022 Meeghan Whalley Bio ImageMeeghan joined WALDRONSMITH Management as an experienced event manager who has worked within the association and corporate sectors on a diverse range of events. In her experience, Meeghan has undertaken a variety of roles within the industry which has allowed her to have an understanding of the entire end-to-end event management process, and in 2009 was shortlisted for the Queensland Young Ungerboeck Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) Professional Scholarship. Meeghan brings technical qualifications (Dip.Event Mgmt), a thirst for challenge and new opportunities, and extensive hands-on experience to her role at WALDRONSMITH Management.

Kirsty Whitehead

Kirsty WhiteheadKirsty joined WALDRONSMITH Management as an experienced event manager working within the association sector. Bringing with her considerable knowledge, Kirsty has gained a wealth of experience working within the New Zealand and Australian events industry. Her background includes working for various industry associations, event management companies and hotels. Kirsty has also had the opportunity to coordinate and lead large delegations to international conferences. With a strong focus on client relationship management, Kirsty welcomes the opportunity to work closely with her clients to ensure event success.

Matt Wingrave

matt-wsmMatt has over 18 years’ experience as a Conference and Event Manager with a strong background working with association, corporate and government clients. He has a Bachelor of Dramatic Art in Stage Management and Technical Production (NIDA), and a Masters of Business Administration sub-majoring in Strategic Management (UTS).
Matt has all-round experience in every aspect of event management and a solid track record of successfully managing a wide range of conferences, exhibitions, awards nights and public events. Matt is proud to be a new member of the WALDRONSMITH Management team having joined in February 2016.
