The Conference Manager leads the event towards success. Liaising with the Committee, venues, suppliers and the WALDRONSMITH Management team, the Conference Manager develops and maintains the relationship with all stakeholders to ensure your conference is delivered in a professional, timely and cost effective manner.

Rebecca Campbell

Rebecca CampbellRebecca joined the WALDRONSMITH Management team after returning to Melbourne from extensive overseas travelling.

Rebecca has had over five years of international experience including Conference and Banqueting Co-ordinator at the five star Jurys Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin and Functions Co-ordinator for an Event and Catering Company in London.Over this period, Rebecca has developed excellent client relationship and communication skills and has a strong food, beverage and functions background. Rebecca holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management (Event Management and Catering) from La Trobe University and a Diploma in Hospitality Management from NMIT.

Jade Comerford

Jade joined WALDRONSMITH Management in 2009 with eight years experience in various event related roles across a range of industries.

She brings a wealth of knowledge gained from her event management studies and from working for various associations, event management companies and as an in house event manager for a corporate organisation. Jade has managed a diverse range of events ranging in size and budget within Australia and New Zealand.

She has a strong customer service and operational background and will go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction and event success.

Laura Hampton

Lauran HamptonLaura accumulated over 10 years experience organising conferences and events for Associations, Societies, Corporate and Government Departments such as the NSW Premier’s Department, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, American Express and the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery.

Laura was also an integral part of the team that produced the indigenous Awakening segment of the Opening and Closing Ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games. Laura is based in WALDRONSMITH Managements Sydney office.

Kirsten McVean

Kristen McVeanKirsten joins WALDRONSMITH Management with a wealth of experience in a variety of industries including associations, event management organisations and the corporate sector. With nearly a decade in the industry and a passion for event management, she has managed a wide range of events across these industries. Throughout her career, she has developed key skills in managing client relationships, specifically with committees. Kirsten has completed a Bachelor Degree in Arts and Applied Science from Deakin University and a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from Monash University.

Kim O’Dea

Kim O'DeaKim joined the WALDRONSMITH Management team in 2001 following many years of employment in senior administrative and training roles, including 7 years as a member of the Royal Australian Air Force. Kim is responsible for the management of the Fertility Society of Australia, including all aspects of its association and conference management. Kim is also responsible for the creation and management of the online registration and abstract submission / review technology for all WALDRONSMITH Management conferences.

Kymberlee Senior

Kymberlee Senior Prior to joining WALDRONSMITH Management, Kymberlee worked at the Australian Drug Foundation where she was responsible for the development and delivery of a range of national and international conferences, seminars, fundraising and corporate events. Kymberlee is an active member of Meetings and Events Australia and is a past committee member of both the Victorian branch’s Professional Development Committee and Young MEA. In 2005, she was a finalist in the Meetings and Events Australia/Ungerboeck Systems International Young Professional Scholarship.

Hanna Ulkuniemi

Hanna UlkuniemiBrings to WALDRONSMITH Management valuable experience gained as a Conference Manager managing a number of successful association conferences. Hanna has also worked as an assistant in conference and event projects and gained a wide range of experience from different roles in the tourism industry. Hanna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management with specialisation in Conference and Event Management which she completed with distinction average at the Haaga University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland.
