Liaising with the Committee, venues, suppliers and the WALDRONSMITH Management team, the Conference Manager develops and maintains the relationship with all stakeholders to ensure your conference is delivered in a professional, timely and cost effective manner.

Rebecca Campbell
Rebecca joined the WALDRONSMITH Management team after returning to Melbourne from extensive overseas travelling.
Rebecca has had over five years of international experience including Conference and Banqueting Co-ordinator at the five star Jurys Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin and Functions Co-ordinator for an Event and Catering Company in London.Over this period, Rebecca has developed excellent client relationship and communication skills and has a strong food, beverage and functions background. Rebecca holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management (Event Management and Catering) from La Trobe University and a Diploma in Hospitality Management from NMIT.

Alison Armstead
Alison began her career in banquet operations in one of Melbourne’s 5 star hotels after graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management from Box Hill TAFE. Alison brings with her over 10 years of hotel experience including 4 ½ years at the Sofitel Melbourne On Collins, where she was responsible for managing large residential conferences, gala dinners, charity fundraisers and special events. Over this period, Alison has developed excellent client relationships and with her strong operational background has a real passion for all aspects of event management.

Juliet Brereton
Juliet has over 15 years event and conference management experience in Australian and the UK. This includes eight years with a professional conference organising company in London and a few years as an in house organiser for a medical society . She has managed a wide variety of events including public festivals, association conferences with accompanying social programs, familiarisation visits, product launches etc. Throughout her career, Juliet, has developed a passion and understanding for association events and has extensive experience working with committees.

Jade Comerford
Jade joined WALDRONSMITH Management in 2009 with eight years experience in various event related roles across a range of industries.
She brings a wealth of knowledge gained from her event management studies and from working for various associations, event management companies and as an in house event manager for a corporate organisation. Jade has managed a diverse range of events ranging in size and budget within Australia and New Zealand.
She has a strong customer service and operational background and will go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction and event success.

Laura Hampton
Laura accumulated over 10 years experience organising conferences and events for Associations, Societies, Corporate and Government Departments such as the NSW Premier’s Department, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, American Express and the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery.
Laura was also an integral part of the team that produced the indigenous Awakening segment of the Opening and Closing Ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games. Laura is based in WALDRONSMITH Management‘s Sydney office.

Katherine Jackson
Katherine Jackson has loved working in Events Management since 2006, and holds an Advanced Diploma in Events Management. Through a strong background working in restaurants and hospitality, her passion for customer service and client relationship management carries over into her event roles. Event coordination in the exhibition industry and conference management within an association provide Katherine with the experience to thrive in her position at WALDRONSMITH Management. Her drive and keen energy to excel will ensure success for her clients’ events.

Alison Manning
Alison has worked in Event Management for over five years and has a diploma in Event Management. Her experience ranges from conferences, seminars, gala dinners and awards evenings through to outdoor festivals, parades, motor sport, running, cycling and surf events. She has worked with a number of associations, charities and local government councils and authorities from a state to national level. Alison has managed a diverse range of events for The International Association of Paediatric Dentistry, Australian Society of Endodontology, Australian Subscription Television & Radio Association (ASTRA), Australian Hearing, Food Media Club of Australia, Australia International Council on Monuments and Sites,
Australian Hypnotherapy Association, Concord Hospital and
ACI – The Financial Market Association.

Kim O’Dea
Kim joined the WALDRONSMITH Management team in 2001 following many years of employment in senior administrative and training roles, including 7 years as a member of the Royal Australian Air Force. Kim is responsible for the management of the Fertility Society of Australia, including all aspects of its association and conference management. Kim is also responsible for the creation and management of the online registration and abstract submission / review technology for all WALDRONSMITH Management conferences.
